Because it is ideas and assumptions that lead you to say you are a person then with dedication you can see that the person is not real, just inferred, an abstraction from the void.
As the person is not real, then the reality can more easily be seen as just something also created from ideas and assumptions.
With neither real, and one can't be real while the other is not, [neither are real, they are one play of the mind] then we dissolve the need for cause/effect and creation.
